Today was third day of fasting and yeay my family were in Solo with me . This was the first time in ramadhan this year for me to have fast breaking moment with my family, should do it more often, they pay my food hahah. It's always a moment of happiness when you can have fast breaking together with your family.
So tonight we went to an old restaurant in town yet still sophisticatedly managed, Adem Ayem. The design, foods and everything are still so basic, never changed since I was a kid. We had our favourite meals here like nasi gudeg, nasi capcay and bakso kuah. And oh, during ramadhan they have free takjil (es kolak) for everyone yeay.
1. Nasi Gudeg Ayam (24k), Nasi Gudeg Istimewa with egg (30k) (Score 8/10 both) This menu really needs a spotlight here. Their nasi gudeg is my favourite, it's no traditional because it's a restaurant, but still they have one of the best nasi gudeg in the entire town. This nasi gudeg tastes more savoury and salty compared to the excesively-sweet gudeg jogja, that's an amazing story for me, I kinda like salty foods better than sweet ones. Its sambel goreng krecek is also slaying, not too spicy, still chewy, very nice. The price is pretty reasonable considering it's a restaurant and the gudeg tastes very good. I'll keep coming back for their nasi gudeg sih.
